In Ciel, Labelle interpolates the Maloya genre into an electronic club production, while keeping the traditional elements found in traditional music from his home, the Réunion Island. The track descends quickly into a trance, with a cathartic dance element. The enveloping cascade of synths and delay create an ethereal groove.
